I’ve worked in security for many years now and the constantly changing environment still challenges and excites me as much as it did when I started.
When I’m not working I love to head for the kitchen, getting together with family to share a meal and plan the next big adventure!”
ABOUT BRENDAN
Brendan has worked in Australia and overseas with major financial institutions and ASX-50 companies, both as an internal CISO and running a Managed Security Services team. He has a strong business focus, and brings a pragmatic risk-based approach to his role which has enabled him to build security as an enabler of a business strategy. Highly analytical, his communication skills mean that he is also equally at home in the boardroom or as a part of a security incident team, and builds strong, high-performance teams to deliver outcomes to organisations.
Although Brendan’s background has a strong technical heritage, he now focuses on the governance and risk domains of information security, and is a member of the Standards Australia committee that works on ISO27001 and associated standards.
